The Keeper of Little Treasures

He was never meant to be frightening.

Somewhere between the last great tide and the first glimmer of moonlight, he washed ashore carrying nothing but a weathered little skull, two curious eyes, and an unmistakable fondness for beautiful things.

He began collecting what the sea forgot.

A tiny shell here. A glint of gold there. A smooth stone polished by a hundred years of waves. He tucked each treasure away, convinced that nothing truly beautiful should ever be lost.

The fishermen called him The Keeper of Little Treasures.

They said that if you left something precious behind on the shore, he would find it.

And if you were lucky, he might leave something even better in its place.

He still wanders the tide line at night, his golden legs dancing over the sand, searching for the small forgotten things that deserve another chance to be treasured.

Because the sea may take many things…

…but he never lets the beautiful ones disappear.
