About the Artist

Thuy is a mixed media artist based in New Orleans whose work explores texture, tension, memory, and transformation through layered sculptural forms and handmade objects.  Inspired by geological formations, marine textures, human emotion, erosion, fragility, and the unseen forces beneath the surface, her work balances softness with structure and restraint with movement.

Working intuitively with mixed media, plaster, paint, metallic finishes, and found textures, each piece becomes a study in process, pressure, and becoming.  No two works are exactly alike; every layer, fracture, and surface variation is part of the story.

Through Studio Lola, Thuy creates original artwork, sculptural objects, and small collections designed to bring depth, curiosity, and emotion resonance into everyday spaces.  Her work exists somewhere between fine art, collected relic, and personal artifact; imperfect, tactile, and deeply human.

Thank you for being here and supporting independent art, thoughtful objects, and the beauty found beneath the surface.
